Airframe: Douglas DC-7CF Seven Seas, c/n 44879, c/r N73774
Notes: The only known visit of a Douglas DC-7 to Adelaide was this Pan American DC-7F N737PA, which arrived 23 November 1963 from Manila direct. It was carrying the much publicised Chrysler Turbo-Car on a world tour. The aircrafts Pan Am name was changed from Clipper Kingfisher to Clipper Chrysler for the tour

Notes: n June 1966 two Lockheed L382B civil Hercules N9263R and N9267R of Alaska Airlines deployed to Adelaide to operate a month of shuttles to Saigon, transporting Adelaide-built dismantled military sheds to the US military in South Vietnam.

Notes: Former RAAF Dakota PK-JDD (ex A65-101) dropped across from Parafield Airport in July 1969, flown by US aircraft dealer
Stan Booker of Stans Airplane Sales, Fresno California. He had just purchased six RAAF Dakotas listed for disposal at Parafield and was picking up aeronautical charts for his ferry flights to buyers in Indonesia and Philippines. Stan left Parafield a few days later in PK-JDD on delivery to Jakarta for Sempati Air Transport.

Airframe: English Electric-Government Aircraft Factories Canberra 20, s/n A84-210 RAAF
Notes: RAAF Canberra A84-210 was a excessive cross-wind diversion from RAAF Edinburgh north of Adelaide, in February 1965.
This was one of 48 Australian licence-built Canberra B.20s manufactured by the Government Aircraft Factory at Avalon Vic.

Airframe: Lockheed Hudson IVA, s/n A16-122 RAAF, c/n 414-6051, c/r VH-AGX
Notes: Adastra Aerial Surveys flew Hudsons, all former RAAF WWII bombers, on aerial survey work into the 1970s. VH-AGX was at Adelaide on 20 December 1962 having an oil leak to the starboard Wright Cyclone checked during a ferry back to home base Sydney from Forrest WA. Colour scheme was Adastra green and white, with black and red trim
