Crashed.
The accident occurred at the Cedar Rapids Municipal Airport (CID) Cedar Rapids, IA, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. The airplane completed an ils approach to runway 27 and requested to circle to land runway 13. The tower was reporting wind as two five zero at two one. On landing the second pilot was unable to stop the airplane on the runway...

Ferry flight. Delivered to Evergreen Aviation Space Museum.
Due to all external equipment, aircraft was required to have two fuel stops. Ferry permit allowed only daylight VFR flight. Mechanical delay forced overnight at first stop. Weather forced a 4-day delay at Portland, OR. |
