Paul McGuiness commented on 30 October 2013: The aircraft remains outside awaiting restoration. Unfortunately, the local council (Albury City Council) will not/cannot allocate funds for the task. A Memorial Trust was set up in 2006 but as yet does not have the funds required to carry out the restoration.Terry Fletcher commented - there is a 2010 photo on the internet of the other DC-2 owned by the Museum at Moorabbin also wearing these colours - http://www.airliners.net/photo/Douglas-DC-2-112/1872656/L/andsid=5d0e9d70b51983d485dfd75697cdc489.
