    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo 152152.

    Transferred to Patrol Squadron 46 (VP-46), Grey Knights, NAS Whidbey Island, WA.
    Operated with markings: RC-7

    1965

    Deployed Naval Air Facility Naha, Okinawa, the squadron began coastal surveillance flights along the coast of Vietnam as part of Operation Market Time, later shifting to Naval Air Station Cubi Point, Philippines.

    16 December 1966

    Transferred to Patrol Squadron 47 (VP-47), NAS Moffett Field, CA.

    8 May 1967

    Transferred to Patrol Squadron 48 (VP-48) Boomerangs, NAS Moffett Field, CA.

    August 1967

    Transferred to Patrol Squadron 50 (VP-50) Blue Dragons, NAS Moffett Field, CA.
    Operated with markings: SG-2

    30 October 1968

    Transferred to Patrol Squadron 17 (VP-17) White Lightnings, NAS Barbers Point, HI.
    Operated with markings: ZE-9

    Returned to Vietnam with VP-17 for further Market Time patrols.

    20 August 1971

    Transferred to Patrol Squadron 6 (VP-6) Blue Sharks, Naval Air Facility Naha, Okinawa.
    Operated with markings: PC-10, later PC-7
    Continued operations with Market Time patrols in Vietnam.

    From 21 September 1971 to 12 January 1972

    Base of operations changed.
    NAS Cubi Point, Philippines and Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam.

    NAS Cubi Point, Philippines.

    August 1988

    Transferred to Patrol Squadron 69 (VP-69) Totems, NAS Whidbey Island, WA.

    Markings Applied: 01, 152152, PJ, 01
    Code 01 on nose, BuNo 152152 below PJ on fin, 01 on upper fin.

    Last P-3A to serve with the US Navy.
