    Constructed as a P-3B-95-LO by Lockheed at Burbank, California, USA.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo 155294.
    The airframe was built for the RAAF and the BuNo was only used for book-keeping purposes. The aircraft did not serve with the USN.

    26 February 1968

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Australian Air Force with s/n A9-294.

    7 December 1983

    To Lockheed with new c/r N4008R {2}.
    Retained at RAAF Edinburgh, Australia until 13 November 1985 under Lockheed ownership.

    From 13 November 1985 to 19 November 1985

    Flown from RAAF Edinburgh to Beja AB Portugal.

    October 1986

    To Lockheed with new c/r N4005X.
    Retained at Beja AB, Portugal under Lockheed ownership.

    To unknown owner with c/r N4005X (P-3P, 5404).

    20 October 1986

    Flown to Montijo AB for use as a trainer for the P-3P programme.

    28 August 1990

    Civil registration, N4005X, cancelled.

    Converted to a P-3P.
    At OGMA at Alverca AB, Portugal.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Forca Aerea Portuguesa with s/n 4803.

    Transferred to ESQ 601, Montijo.

    New serial number assigned: 14803 FAPo
