    Summarized NTSB narrative from report number ANC77DAH35: There were no fatalities. Incident occurred at 14:30 hours. The damage was substantial. This was a local flight from Seward, AK. Experienced a controlled collision with terrain while cruising. The factors included; down and updrafts. The sky conditions were clear. The visibility was 5 or over (unlimited). The temperature was 45 degF. The wind direction was 180 degrees. The wind velocity was 5 knots. The weather conditions were VFR...

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the Goose Bay Airport (Z40) Anchorage, AK, United States while going around. The damage was substantial. The student pilot was practicing touch and go landings at a gravel airstrip that had snowberms along each side of the runway. During the ninth approach for landing, the pilot flared too high and ballooned upward. He added power to arrest the descent, then, decided to begin a go-around. The pilot added full power and the airplane veered to the left...

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at Willow, AK, United States while taxiing. The damage was substantial. The pilot and passenger were departing a frozen lake in the ski-equipped airplane. The pilot reported he was taxiing at an excessive speed. Due to flat lighting conditions, the pilot did not see a frozen snow berm. The right landing gear ski crested the berm and then struck a second snow berm. The right main landing gear was torn from the airplane fuselage.
