    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army with s/n 55-4602.

    From July 1976 to August 1980

    To United States Department of Agriculture, Mission, TX with new c/r N65223.

    From August 1980 to November 1983

    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number HS193.

    18 July 1984

    Certificate of airworthiness for N65223 (BEAVER U-6A, 55-4602) issued.

    5 October 1989

    To Grossman Roy, Chico, CA with new c/r N65223.

    15 February 2000

    To No See Um Lodge Inc, King Salmon, AK keeping c/r N65223.

    7 June 2002

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at King Salmon, AK, United States while taxiing. The damage was substantial. The commercial certificated pilot was taxiing for takeoff from a remote river in a float-equipped airplane. The pilot said that during a right turn, a combination of river current and strong winds lifted the left wing. The right wingtip and the right elevator struck the water. The wing was bent upward about 30 degrees. The elevator was bent mid-span...
