    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Irish Air Corps with s/n 163.
    Delivered to Baldonnel AB.

    Retired from operational use but retained as instructional airframe.

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the Irish Air Corps.

    4 April 1968

    To Neville Anthony Wylie Samuelson/Spitfire Productions, London with new c/r G-AWGB.

    8 May 1968

    Ferry flight.
    From Ireland to the U.K.

    27 May 1968

    Completed overhaul.

    Leased to Hamish Mahaddie.
    Used in the filming of the movie Battle of Britain. Flew with a camera in the front cockpit.

    Stored at Samuelson Film Services hangar, Elstree, England.
