    To Curtiss with new c/r N46U.

    To Paraguayan Air Services with new c/r ZP-CBM (Curtiss C-46A, 30554).

    Crashed.
    Summary: The airframe was written off. There were five fatalities. The cargo flight departed Rio de Janeiro-Santos Dumont Airport, RJ (SDU/SBRJ), Brazil and was destined for Belem/Val-de-Cans International Airport, PA (BEL/SBBE), Brazil. The accident occurred at off Aracruz, ES (Brazil) while en route. Narrative: The airplane operated on a trial flight from Asuncion, Paraguay to Miami, USA. En route stops were planned at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Belem. The flight took off at 17:52 and crashed off the coast of Aracruz...
