The gear collapsed on touch down. The factors included; overload failure and sunglare. Report remarks include: Landed in tundra 100 feet short of frozen lake. Incident occurred at or near Fairbanks, AK.

The flight departed from Umiat, AK, with the destination Barrow, AK. Experienced a controlled collision with terrain while cruising. The factors included; low ceiling and fog. The sky conditions were overcast. The ceiling was 400 feet at the accident site. The visibility was 4 miles or less. There was fog. The weather conditions were VFR...

    25 June 1987

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at Ketchikan, AK, United States while on appoach. The damage was substantial. On landing at ketchikan airport the pilot stated he made a last minute runway change due to departing traffic. Turning base the pilot reduced power to idle. He then advanced the throttle and received no response. The pilot could not make the runway and elected to make a water landing with the landing gear down. On landing the aircraft flipped over inverted.
