    Summarized NTSB narrative from report number OAK68D0088: There were no fatalities. Incident occurred at 16:00 hours. The damage was substantial. Collided with trees while in flight. The factors included; weather obstructions to vision. The sky conditions were unknown/not reported. The visibility was unknown/not reported. There was smoke. The wind direction was 270 degrees. The wind velocity was 20 knots. The weather conditions were UNKNOWN/NOT REPORTED...

    Purchased by FPL for $13,000 (CDN) plus 2,000 for engine.

    18 May 1984

    Crashed.
    Owned and operated by FPL and piloted by Tom Martindale of Tillsonburg, Ontario, experienced an undercarriage failure on landing at Brockway airstrip. The pilot was not injured but the aircraft was extensively damaged.

    6 June 1987

    Crashed.
    Owned and operated by FPL and piloted by Paul Garon of Truro, NS, crashed at Boston Brook airstrip, some 20 miles north of St. Leonard, NB. Pilot Garon died in the accident. The aircraft was completely destroyed.
