    This was a highly modified Cassutt design, and adopted the ID of a Cassutt previoiusly raced by Dave Morss.

    The aircraft was based on race #99 Misty Racer keeping the wing but with a new fuselage. Competed at the National Championship Air Races in the Formula One class. The primary pilot was Dave Morss from San Carlos, CA. Qualified in 10th place with an average speed of 216.097 mph. Raced in Heat 1B. Finished in 3rd place with an average speed of 214.869 mph. Raced in Heat 2C. Finished in 6th place with an average speed of 156.935 mph. Raced in the Medallion 2 race. Finished in 2nd place with an average speed of 204.601 mph.

    Raced as #99, named FAST LANE EXIT.
    Competed at the California Air Races Stockton in the Formula One class. The primary pilot was Dave Morss from San Carlos, CA. Qualified in 4th place with an average speed of 200.21 mph. Raced in the One Mile Course race. Finished in 6th place with an average speed of 172.63 mph.

    Scrapped.
    After a few years of racing a fuel leak was found that had ruined the fiberglass firewall and the structural integrity of the airplane. It was no longer flyable so it was cut-up.
