    Crashed.
    Summary: The damage to the airframe was substantial. The domestic scheduled passenger flight departed Los Angeles International Airport, CA (LAX/KLAX), United States of America. The accident occurred at Long Beach Airport, CA (LGB) (United States of America) while landing. The airframe was damaged beyond repair. Narrative: While climbing out of Los Angeles, the flight experienced a malfunction of the no. 3 and then no. 2 engines Both props were feathered. Prop no. 3 was later unfeathered but failed to develop more than 1800 RPM...

Narrative: Lockheed Constellation Star of Dublin operated as TWA Flight 529 from Boston, MA (BOS) to San Francisco, CA (SFO) with en route stops at New York, NY, Pittsburgh, PA, Chicago, IL (MDW), Las Vegas, NV (LAS) and Los Angeles, CA (LAX)...
