    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 72-1133.
    S/n allocated for production administrative purposes, aircraft did not serve with US forces.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the West German Air Force with s/n 37+23.

    By June 1988

    Transferred to JG-71, Wittmundhaven.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Luftwaffe with s/n 37+23.

    New serial number assigned: 72-1133 Luftwaffe
    This airframe was owned by the German Air Force and was assigned to the German staffed training squadron at Holloman in New Mexico. They flew in USAF markings but technically they were still Luftwaffe aircraft.

    Transferred to 20th TFS, 49th TFW, German Training Squadron, Holloman AFB, NM.
    Operated with markings: HO

    Withdrawn from use.

    To White Sands Missile Range.
