    Notes: For many years, this 1929 New Standard still earns her keep flying sightseers over the beautiful Hudson Valley. Unfortunately, she had to make an emergency landing and was wrecked. The good news is that the pilot was able to get the aircraft back, averting serious injury to himself and the passengers.

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the Old Rhinebeck Airport (NY94) Rhinebeck, NY, United States while taking off. The damage was substantial. The pilot was departing the turf runway in a tailwheel-equipped airplane. As he began the takeoff roll, the airplane began to pull a little to the left. He corrected with rudder, but the airplane continued to pull harder to the left. The airplane traveled toward the edge of the runway, where it dropped suddenly and exited the runway...
