    Transferred to 23rd Tactical Fighter Wing, McConnell AFB, KS.

    From 31 January 1968 to 8 February 1968

    Deployed to George AFB, CA, for air-to-air gunnery training for RTU Class 68FR.

    From 14 August 1969 to 19 August 1969

    Loaned to Air Force Systems Command, Dulles AP, MD.

    By 15 June 1970

    Transferred to 419th TFTS, 23rd TFW, McConnell AFB, KS.

    By March 1972

    Transferred to 562nd TFS, 23rd TFW, McConnell AFB, KS.
    Operated with markings: MD

    From April 1972 to December 1972

    Damaged.
    While undergoing depot work at McClellan AFB, CA, the nose of this F-105 was damaged in a ground fire. The aircraft was placed in storage while SM-ALC engineers repaired the damaged sections. Also during this time it was given the IRAN/MOD.

    Transferred to 465th TFS, 507th TFG, AFRES, Tinker AFB, OK.
    Operated with markings: SH

    From 10 June 1978 to 23 June 1978

    Deployed to RAF Sculthrope, England, under CORONET ORIOLE.

    30 July 1980

    Transferred to 466th TFS, 508th TFG, AFRES, Hill AFB, UT.
    Operated with markings: HI

    11 January 1984

    Last flight.
    Flown from Hill AFB, UT, to Edwards AFB, CA, for display.
