    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n MW185.

    To Air Charter London with new c/r G-AMUT (AVRO 685 YORK C1, MW185).

    To Maritime Central Airways, Canada with new c/r CF-HTM.

    By 9 May 1958

    To Dan-Air Services keeping c/r G-AMUT.

    Crashed.
    Summary: The airframe was written off. This was a cargo flight. The accident occurred at Malta-Luqa Airport (MLA) (Malta) while landing. Narrative: The Avro York landed 1700 feet down the runway and overran. The undercarriage was retracted and the aircraft struck a wall.
